I know I've been missing here for a while. My schedule is crazy, moms. I love it! It's a schedule that revolves around the husband and the kids. Every day, there's also work—photo shoot, interview, meeting, writing. I'm a busy working mommy and I love crossing out items on my to-do list. But of all the stuff I accomplished today, this is what I'm most proud of:
I filled up a 5 oz bottle with my breast milk all in one sitting!
Good job Topaz Mommy!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful job!
This looks like my Evenflo breastpump :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a Pigeon =) We like Japanese products!
DeleteI also had the same accomplishment last 2011! :) Gosh, I miss breastfeeding! :)
ReplyDeletewow! i wish ganyan karami milk ko. pinaka dami ko is 2 oz. kaya mix na c baby. sigh*
ReplyDeleteI normally express 1-2 oz also =) But I exclusively breastfeed because I'm a housewife naman.
DeleteHow did you do it? I can only manage 2 oz in 1 sitting? Tips please
ReplyDeleteI normally express 1-2 oz din! Kaya nga biggest accomplishment ko for the day yang 5 oz na yan! Hindi normal yan! Sobra akong nawindang kaya na-blog ko nang di oras
DeleteThat's great.. I remembered few months ago a was able to fill 8 oz in one sitting..my bottle overflown..haha...great job..
ReplyDeleteYay! My friend is having a hard time with her milk, she hardly gets to fill a bottle while at work.
ReplyDeletePlease tell your friend that it is completely normal to express just a few ounces! I hardly ever filled a bottle myself when I expressed at the office!
DeleteWow! Congrats Frances. I stopped pumping milk at the office when Emilie turned 1. She still feeds at night when I get home though I think I can no longer satisfy her. So a bottle of Nido is on stand by. Hats off to breastfeeding moms like you. Thank you for all your advice and articles on bf. Really helped me a lot!
ReplyDeleteOkay lang yan, Liz! I also did that to Vito, at night na lang ako nag-nurse when he was around 10 months old. I'll try to breastfeed Iñigo longer but if hindi kaya, I will feel no guilt about it!
DeleteThat's really an accomplishment mommy topaz! Bigla ko tuloy namiss magbreasfeed and magpump. I remember when I'm still working, talagang religiously akong nagpupump sa office for my twins kaya I managed to breastfed them exclusively for 10 months. =)I salute you girl! That's the best thing you can give to your baby. Ang daming benefits kapag breastfed sila eh. No unnecessary vaccines and hindi sakitin ang baby. =)
ReplyDeletewow, 5 oz, great job!
ReplyDeleteYey! Happy for you! I felt the same happiness when I am able to pump 5oz for my little girl before. I usually pump 1-2 oz only and whenever I reach the 5 oz mark, I party! There are times I get to produce 10 oz in one seating! But that's only when I get so busy at work that I only get to pump at the end of the day. I know how it feels! And I used Pigeon breast pump too! My partner in all those pumping days. Keep it up Frances :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You used a manual pump at that too! Well done, mommy Frances :)
