Peek into my gift for my friend who just gave birth

A dear friend of mine just gave birth! I wanted her to feel encouraged about breastfeeding so here's what I packed into her gift:

Anmum Lacta is specifically made for breastfeeding mommies. It enriches your milk with Gangliosides,  which are lipids that help promote the brain cell connections of your baby. It also has Sialic Acid and Essential Fatty Acids, building blocks of your child's brain. But because Anmum Lacta has reduced fat, you don't have to worry about getting fat! Plus, it's low in lactose so you don't have to worry about tummy trouble.

Now that we've got enriched breast milk covered, I included Mommy Treats lactation goodies. I've recommended these cookies and brownies time and again—they really do help increase milk supply! I got my friend the sugar-free cookies. Mommy Treats sent an extra box of samplers filled with cookies, muffins and brownies since she's met my friend before.

Ameda Store 'N Pour breast milk bags for all that liquid gold!

I really believe in breastfeeding babies. And I hope these goodies really encourage my friend to soldier on with breastfeeding. It isn't easy but it truly is worth it.

Now don't think I forgot her baby! So for her little girl, I got quaint Mothercare onesies.

Congratulations, D! I hope to see your little sweetheart soonest!

How about you, mommies? What do you give to your friends who just gave birth? Do share! I need ideas! I have so many friends pregnant this year!

  1. I'm pregnant and I want to gift myself with these! :) I'm especially looking forward to eating Mommy Treats brownies. Is there a reason why you chose Ameda storage bags in particular? Are these superior to other milk bags?

  2. You're so thoughtful! When one of my dearest friends gave birth, I offered and lent her my Avent Isis Duo breast pump to help her express milk and breastfeed longer. I put together a tote filled with a book, What To Expect The First Year, breastfeeding pamphlets, a dozen of Medela breast milk storage bottles, and nursing pads. I'm pro breastfeeding too like you! So I really did my best to encourage her and help her be able to breastfeed longer.
